Michael attends college at Bowling Green State University/Firelands Campus in Ohio. Michael faced several barriers in school due to his chronic and invisible conditions, and as a result of this, he engaged in several alternative learning environments since the fourth grade. His journey has been a difficult one, but he has overcome the challenges he faced with grit and determination with the strong support of his family, friends, and a few amazing educators who took the time to invest in him.
