Statewide Quality Improvement Council Survey

The Children’s Mental Health Committee of the Statewide Quality Improvement Council (QIC) is interested in knowing what services are most important to Families and Youth. In an effort to effectively advocate on behalf of Children and Families we are conducting this survey. This survey is ongoing and the results are constantly updated so that the most recent information is available to the committee members.

How do you feel about the education of your child with an Autsim Spectrum Disorder?

The Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies at the University of Maine is conducting research on the education of students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). As part of that research we are interested in learning how parents and
guardians feel about the capacity of schools to provide an effective education to students with ASD. We are inviting parents or guardians of a child with ASD who (1) is currently attending public school, or (2) who has attended public school in the
